“Absolute Boyfriend” Enjoys Rise In Ratings For 2nd Episode As “The Banker” Ends On Highest Ratings Yet
After getting off to a relatively slow start with its premiere, SBS’s new romantic comedy “Absolute Boyfriend” enjoyed a significant increase in its viewership ratings for its second episode on May 16. According to Nielsen Korea, the second broadcast of the drama scored average nationwide ratings of 3.1 percent and 3.5 percent for its two parts, marking a notable rise in its viewership from the night before.
Meanwhile, MBC’s suspenseful investigative drama “The Banker” ended on a high note—the May 16 series finale scored average nationwide ratings of 5.4 percent and 7.0 percent, breaking the drama’s personal viewership record.
KBS 2TV’s special broadcast of “Doctor Prisoner,” which aired its own series finale the night before on May 15, scored average ratings of 5.2 percent and 5.1 percent during the same time slot.
