On May 18, ten days since it first premiered, the film reached one million moviegoers. According to statistics released by the Korean Film Council, the film reached the milestone at around 1:46 p.m. KST.

“Girl Cops” was released on May 9 and tells the story of two women who take on a digital sex crime case that the rest of the police force has written off as unsolvable. The film’s cast celebrated the moment as Ra Mi Ran, Lee Sung Kyung, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung, Wi Ha Joon and director Jung Da Won wore cute headbands as they said, “Thank you for ‘Girl Cops’ hitting one million moviegoers. See you in theaters!”

Congratulations to “Girl Cops”!
