BoA Picks Male Idol Dance Partner Who's Left A Great Impression On Her

BoA recently revealed the identity of a male idol who was able to impress her!

On the May 19 episode of JTBC’s “Stage K,” teams from Asia, North America, South America, and Europe competed in a dance cover battle in front of the very artist they covered that day—BoA.

After one group covered her hit track “Only One,” she stated, “That’s the first title track I wrote. Originally, it wasn’t the title track, but I had a performance in mind for this song. It was of the ‘lyrical hip hop’ genre, so I wanted to create a performance that seemed like it came from a musical.”

When asked about the male idols who have been her dance partners (TVXQ’s Yunho, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, SHINee’s Taemin, EXO’s Sehun) for the track, BoA chose Taemin as the partner who was able to leave a great impression on her. She remarked, “He was the friend that many people told me looked the prettiest. Everyone’s my junior, so they find it difficult [interacting] with me.”

She then continued, “First of all, he couldn’t make eye contact with me. The first thing we practiced in the practice room was making eye contact.”

BoA has performed “Only One” with the idols mentioned above numerous times for her music show performances and for SMTOWN concerts.
