Han Ji Sun Personally Apologizes To The Taxi Driver She Assaulted

On May 25, Channel A shared, “Han Ji Sun apologized to taxi driver Lee (hereafter referred to as Lee) through her agency the day after the incident was released to the press.”

Previously, on May 23, Channel A reported that Han Ji Sun assaulted a taxi driver, was fined 5 million won (approximately $4,217), and was given a year’s probation for obstruction of justice.

A source from Han Ji Sun’s agency revealed, “She hadn’t been able to apologize because we didn’t know Lee’s contact information. She will meet Lee in person to ask for forgiveness.” The source also shared that she also plans to apologize to the other assault victim who sat in the backseat of the taxi.

Lee reportedly went to Han Ji Sun’s agency after receiving a call and met with her in person eight months after the incident.

According to Lee, Han Ji Sun told her story in tears. She told Lee that she’s never had this happen when she was drunk before and that she does not drink alcohol anymore.

Lee stated, “I decided to accept Han Ji Sun’s apology without receiving any other compensation.”

Han Ji Sun was appearing in SBS drama “The Secret Life of My Secretary,” but due to this incident, Han Ji Sun stepped down from her role.
