"Produce X 101" Contestant Injured During Filming + Mnet Responds

A trainee has been injured during filming for “Produce X 101.”

On May 28, industry representatives reported that a trainee fainted after a group battle performance and hurt his face.

In response, Mnet confirmed that one trainee lost his balance after the performance and was injured. The source added, “With the medical team that is always on standby on set, he was immediately sent to the hospital and received first aid.”

Mnet continued, “The trainee returned for the following recording in a healthy state and continued filming. We are continuously monitoring the health of all the trainees on the program including this specific trainee, and we will pay even more attention to the safety of the filming set.”

“Produce X 101” airs every Friday at 11 p.m. KST. The upcoming episode on May 31 will feature the first ranking announcement and elimination.
