Watch: SEVENTEEN Takes Collaboration To The Next Level On

On May 31, SEVENTEEN appeared as guests on tvN’s “300 X2.” Two days later, on June 2 KST, tvN uploaded some clips of the epic appearance on their official YouTube channel.

“300 X2” was originally a competition show in which different groups of singers gathered 300 fans to form teams and battle against each other. In the second season, however, one group teams up with 300 fans to have an epic singalong session.

In the May 31 episode, SEVENTEEN easily gathered 300 fans for the mission. The fans came from all over the world, including China, Indonesia, and San Francisco in the United States. Many fans were followed by their middle-aged parents, who had also become fans of SEVENTEEN through their children, and students from Hoshi’s old high school also appeared to show their support.

Before they could see their fans, however, SEVENTEEN held a mini dance party on their own, in which each member showcased their individual skills. The group also filmed videos to help their fans learn how to sing along and dance along to their songs.

Finally, SEVENTEEN had to perform “Home” on an empty stage while the fans waited silently behind curtains. Then, when the curtain came down, Kang Ho Dong asked each member to show their reactions to how they felt when they saw the crowd.

Just before their performance, Wonwoo said, “SEVENTEEN is famous for having fun with their fans on stage, and our fans are famous for their support. [We came on the show because] we wanted to show more people this.”

The group also entertained their fans by covering dances to other songs and answering fan questions.

The fans sang along to SEVENTEEN’s “Clap” and “VERY NICE” and also kept up with SEVENTEEN’s passionate choreography. This episode was particularly difficult because the fans would not only have to sing but also dance along, changing line formations according to the beat.

At the end of the show, SEVENTEEN said, “Normally, we’re a group that overwhelms the stage, but today we were overwhelmed. We won’t forget this feeling and become a group that can spread this feeling to others.” The group also performed “Adore U” as a thank-you message to the fans who joined in the singalong.
