SMTOWN Live 2019 In Tokyo Confirms Some Members Of f(x), Super Junior, EXO, And Girls' Generation Unable To Take Part

SMTOWN Live 2019 in Tokyo has announced more details about the show’s lineup.

Previously, the event shared a poster that showed performers including Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation members (Taeyeon, Yuri, and Hyoyeon), SHINee’s Taemin, f(x), EXO, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT Dream, and J-Min.

On June 3, an announcement on the SMTOWN Japan website shared that some artists will not be participating in the event.

EXO’s D.O. is enlisting for mandatory military service on July 1 and therefore will not be participating. Fellow EXO member Lay, Super Junior’s Kim Heechul, Girls’ Generation’s Yuri, and f(x)’s Victoria are also unable to take part due to their schedules. SM apologized through the notice and asked for fans’ understanding.

A new poster for the event also now includes CSJH The Grace’s Dana and Sunday.

The SMTOWN concerts will be held at the Tokyo Dome on August 3, 4, and 5.
