Go Won Hee And Shin Sung Rok Don’t Think Getting Along Is An Option In “Perfume”

KBS 2TV’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Perfume” has released new stills of Shin Sung Rok and Go Won Hee!

The new drama tells the story of the neurotic yet brilliant fashion designer Seo Yi Do (Shin Sung Rok) who has fallen into a creative slump and the mysterious model Min Ye Rin (Go Won Hee) who comes back from hell. Already, “Perfume” has taken the top spot among Monday-Tuesday dramas.

Previously, Seo Yi Do watched Min Ye Rin jump in to the river while holding a live social media broadcast in hopes of getting a job. The action triggered a memory in his mind of a young boy falling into the water, which caused Seo Yi Do to have trouble breathing. Suffering, Seo Yi Do hurriedly offered Min Ye Rin a job while rescuing her from the water. Afterwards, he took Min Ye Rin to his house, which he had been left empty for a year, and threatened to fire her if she didn’t finish cleaning up the entire house before he came back from work. Min Ye Rin successfully and skillfully cleaned the place up and passed the suspicious internship.

The newly released stills have caught the viewers’ attention, for Shin Sung Rok and Go Won Hee are shown eating separately under the same roof. Min Ye Rin, who has succeeded in being hired as a live-in helper, is caught in the midst of Seo Yi Do’s ill treatment. In the stills, Seo Yi Do, who hasn’t stepped foot in his house for an entire year, is eating at the dinner table while Min Ye Rin is eating on the veranda with just a bowl and spoon. Viewers are curious to find out how Min Ye Rin overcame the obstacle of almost having her identity revealed near the end of the last episode, and they’re excited to see the process of Min Ye Rin fully becoming Seo Yi Do’s live-in helper.

To film the specific scene, Shin Sung Rok and Go Won Hee discussed ideas about the scene and the emotions involved in it with the director. They also showcased their enthusiasm while rehearsing by sharing their opinions to make the scene even more comical. With their witty ad-libs and great chemistry, the staff on set couldn’t help but laugh while filming the scene.

The production staff shared, “At each filming, Shin Sung Rok and Go Won Hee become the messengers of laughter with their perfect chemistry, making us wonder if they were always this funny. As the story proceeds, please look forward to the extraordinary ‘transformation fantasy romance’ of these two people with explosive chemistry and synergy.”

“Perfume” airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 p.m. KST. Catch the latest episode below!
