Mnet's M2 And Genie Music To Launch New Music Awards Show

Mnet’s M2 and Genie Music will be launching a new music awards show together!

On June 3, Mnet’s M2 and Genie Music revealed plans to host the 2019 M2 X Genie Music Awards (hereafter 2019 MGMA).

2019 MGMA hopes to differentiate itself from other awards shows by focusing on digital content. It plans to focus on the current trend of people enjoying music as well as finding and sharing related content online.

The ceremony will select and award the most loved music, artists, content, and creators of all time. Furthermore, it plans to show the preparation process through various forms of digital content and a live broadcast of the ceremony.

2019 MGMA will take place on August 1 at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul. The ceremony will be available to watch live through the website and mobile application of Genie Music, Mnet, and M2.
