Things get tense between INFINITE’s L and Lee Dong Gun in “Angel’s Last Mission: Love.”

L plays Dan in the drama, an angel set out to find love for Lee Yeon Seo (played by Shin Hye Sun), while Lee Dong Gun takes the role of Ji Kang Woo, the art director of a ballet company who is trying to get her to do ballet again. In the midst of the love story, Dan thinks Lee Yeon Seo is meant to be with Ji Kang Woo and plays the role of cupid to connect the two. However, in the ending of episode eight, the chilling twist about Ji Kang Woo shocked many viewers.

On May 4, the drama released stills of Dan and Ji Kang Woo who are both hiding the secrets of their identities. The two meet at a bar and are locked in a tense war of nerves. Ji Kang Woo stands up with an angry expression on his face while Dan looks at his behavior with a suspicious expression.

Then in one photo, Dan has his hand over Ji Kang Woo’s forehead with a surprised look while Ji Kang Woo is stiffly frozen in his spot. Dan’s unpredictable actions makes the viewers wonder about what they saw that made them behave strangely.
