Hwang Jung Eum And Yook Sungjae In Talks For Webtoon-Based Drama

Hwang Jung Eum and Yook Sungjae might be making a drama comeback soon.

On June 7, reports revealed that Hwang Jung Eum will be starring in JTBC’s upcoming webtoon-based drama “Ssang Gap Pocha.” Her agency, C-JeS Entertainment, clarified that she has received an offer and is considering the role.

If she accepts the role, Hwang Jung Eum will act as the lead female character. Yook Sungjae was previously revealed to be in talks for the lead male character role.

“Ssang Gap Pocha” is a popular webtoon created by Bae Hye Soo. The story centers around a mysterious pojangmacha (outdoor drinking establishment) that appears in various places and its customers. The webtoon also won the Excellence Award at the 2017 Korea Comic Awards.
