Brave Entertainment Responds To Samuel’s Sudden Announcement Of Promoting As Independent Artist

Brave Entertainment has commented on reports of Samuel setting out on his own.

On June 8, Samuel shared a post on Instagram where he thanked fans and announced that he’d be pursuing future promotions as an independent artist.

On June 10, a source from Brave Entertainment said, “We did not part ways with Samuel. The independent promotions that Samuel announced were not discussed with the agency. We’ll release an official statement soon and explain the situation.”

Samuel first debuted as a member of 1PUNCH in 2015 before appearing on Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 2” in 2017. He officially debuted as a solo artist in August 2017 with the track “Sixteen.”
