Kang Daniel Reportedly Becomes Director Of A Corporation
On June 10, news outlet YTN Star reported that Kang Daniel is legally registered as a director of a corporation called KD.
This follows the news of Kang Daniel’s establishment of one-man agency KONNECT Entertainment, which is reportedly managed by corporation KD. According to the report, Kang Daniel is also listed as an executive director of KONNECT Entertainment.
The report further stated that KONNECT Entertainment will be in charge of Kang Daniel’s business related to entertainment, and corporation KD will take care of the singer’s other businesses. Thus, the corporation plans to branch out its business into different areas.
In response, a source from Kang Daniel’s side clarified that there is nothing definite about Kang Daniel’s Asia tour in the second half of the year, publication of pictorial books, nor expansion of business. The agency also denied reports of Kang Daniel’s solo debut in July.
Last month, the Seoul District Courts ruled in favor of Kang Daniel in his contract dispute with LM Entertainment. Therefore, Kang Daniel is allowed to pursue independent activities without any interference from his former agency. However, LM Entertainment appealed the court’s decision, and the second round of court questioning for Kang Daniel and the agency is set to take place on June 12.
On June 9, Kang Daniel returned to Instagram for a live broadcast for the first time in five months and announced his plans to make his highly-anticipated solo debut.
