MBC Makes Changes To Daily Drama Schedule

MBC has announced more changes to its drama schedule!

On June 10, it was reported that “Blessing of the Sea” will be the final daily drama in the evenings on MBC, and after that, MBC will air daily dramas in the mornings.

Last month, MBC announced changes to its nightly dramas. MBC decided to temporarily discontinue Monday-Tuesday dramas after 40 years and move the broadcast time of mini series from 10 p.m. KST to 9 p.m. KST.

It will now move daily dramas from the evening to the morning, making MBC the only network to compete with SBS, which also airs morning dramas.

MBC confirmed, “Rather than seeing it as daily dramas in the evenings being discontinued, please see it as daily dramas having shifted from the evening to the morning time. We will be focusing on the morning hours.”

Morning dramas are making a big revival on MBC, and the first daily drama to air in the morning is “Everyone Kung Tari” (literal title), which is set to premiere on July 15.
