BTS Makes History On Billboard's Social 50 Chart With 100 Straight Weeks At The Top

BTS has set an impressive new record on Billboard’s Social 50 chart!

On the Social 50 chart for the week ending in June 15, BTS remains in the first place position. This is their 100th week in a row in first, and 130th week at the top overall.

BTS has been in the first place position on the Social 50 chart since July 29, 2017. They’ve once again set a record for the longest consecutive period of time at No. 1.

BTS is the artist with the second-highest number of weeks on the Social 50 chart overall, as Justin Bieber took first place 163 times non-consecutively.

Billboard’s Social 50 chart ranks artists based on data from music analytics company Next Big Sound, and it shows the most popular artists on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Wikipedia, and Tumblr. It determines the ranking through a combination of weekly additions of friends/fans/followers with artist page views and engagement.

Meanwhile, BTS’s mini album “Map of the Soul: Persona” and title track “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey are spending an eighth week on the Billboard 200, Hot 100, and more. Their album “Love Yourself: Answer” from last August also maintains its popularity, coming in at No. 88 on the Billboard 200 chart, and they have four releases on the World Albums chart.

BTS’s sixth anniversary is on June 13, and the group will be holding their Muster fan meetings on June 15 and 16 in Busan, followed by in Seoul on June 22 and 23.

Congratulations to BTS!
