MBC, KBS, And SBS Make Changes To Broadcast Schedules For 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup Finals
Scheduling changes for television shows have been announced due to a sports event!
Korea will be up against Ukraine for the finals of the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Therefore, late-night programs are being moved or cancelled to air the match.
MBC’s “The Manager” will not air this week as instead, a special preview show “The Final” will be aired for the 2019 U-20 FIFA World Cup. “The Final” will be a program that analyzes the Korean soccer team’s rise to the finals and the strategies they’ve used to be at the top.
In KBS’s case, they will not be airing “Battle Trip” this weekend. They were originally set to air a “Plan for summer in advance – Overseas destinations” special episode, but this has now been moved to June 22. “Art of Conversation” (literal title) originally airs at 10:45 p.m. KST but has been pulled up to air instead at 9:15 p.m. KST this week.
Finally, SBS will be airing the finals instead of “Unanswered Questions.” The program will be uploading a “Hwaseong serial murders revisited” special on their official YouTube channel instead. At 11:10 p.m. KST, the channel will be airing “The Princess and the Matchmaker,” a film led by Lee Seung Gi and Shim Eun Kyung.
At 1 a.m. KST on June 16, Korea’s national U-20 football team will go up against Ukraine in the finals of 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup. The match will be aired live on channels like SBS, MBC, and KBS.
