So Ji Sub's Agency Clarifies Reports About Purchasing Home For Marriage Preparations

So Ji Sub has responded to rumors that he purchased a house to prepare for marriage with his girlfriend Jo Eun Jung.

On June 15, news outlet Skyedaily reported that last November, So Ji Sub purchased a villa in the luxurious Hannam the Hills, which is located in the neighborhood of Hannam in Seoul. The villa is reportedly 231 square meters in area and was priced at 6.1 billion won (approximately $5.1 million).

The news outlet interviewed a real estate agent who said, “I know the fact that So Ji Sub was looking at houses with the woman who’s known as the person he will marry. Most real estate agents think he bought the house as a marital home.”

On June 16, a source from So Ji Sub’s agency clarified, “It is true that So Ji Sub bought a villa located in the neighborhood of Hannam last November for residential purposes. He will be moving in soon. The original news report reported that he had bought the house as a marital home and caused a misunderstanding. It was not purchased as a martial home. So Ji Sub had to move out of his current place, and while looking for a new house, he decided to move into the neighborhood of Hannam. At the time, he looked at houses with his agency CEO, but the rumor was distorted to say that he went with his girlfriend. So Ji Sub and [Jo Eun Jung] continue to date seriously, but it is too early to discuss marriage.”

Meanwhile, it was revealed in May that So Ji Sub and reporter Jo Eun Jung were in a romantic relationship.
