BTS Wins Global Phenom Award At The 2019 ARDYs

BTS won an award at the 2019 ARDYs: A Radio Disney Music Celebration!

On June 16 (local time), the 2019 ARDYs (formerly known as the Radio Disney Music Awards) took place. Although BTS was unable to attend the ceremony, the group was crowned the winner of the Global Phenom award.

This is the second year that the group won awards from this annual awards show. BTS took home three trophies – Best Duo/Group, Best Dance Track, and Best Song That Makes You Smile – from last year’s ceremony, with ARMY also winning Fiercest Fans.

A source from Big Hit Entertainment explained, “The Global Phenom award was created and awarded for the first time this year. It is to commemorate BTS’s great influence in the global pop industry due to [their] music, fashion, dancing, and more.”
