Starship Addresses Fans About Invading Privacy Of "Produce X 101" Trainees

Starship Entertainment has posted a notice for fans of the agency’s five trainees who are appearing on “Produce X 101.”

On June 17, the agency shared the following announcement:

Hello. This is Starship Entertainment.

First, we express our thanks to all of you fans supporting trainees Koo Jung Mo, Moon Hyun Bin, Ham Won Jin, Kang Min Hee, and Song Hyeong Jun who are appearing on Mnet’s ‘Produce X 101.’

We inform you that lately there have been issues regarding the trainees’ safety and privacy being invaded due to people who are coming to places outside of official events, including the agency, their dorms, the hair salon, and schools.

We ask that you refrain from actions including visiting places including not only the Starship agency and dorms but also anywhere that could lead to an invasion of privacy, as well as following them during their personal comings and goings.

Currently in the case of the trainees, only fan letters are able to be sent via mail through the agency, and gifts other than that are not able to be delivered. In addition, giving fan letters or gifts directly to the trainees is not possible, and we ask for your understanding about this.

We ask for fans’ active cooperation in the name of the trainees’ safety and privacy, just as much as you support and love the Starship trainees.
