"Miss Trot" Winner Song Ga In Taken To Hospital After Car Accident

Trot singer Song Ga In is currently undergoing examination at a hospital after being injured in a car accident.

On June 20, the “Miss Trot” winner was returning to Seoul on a highway in North Jeolla Province when a cargo truck in the next lane collided with her vehicle, causing major damage to the car. Although Song Ga In did not sustain any major external injuries, she experienced pain in her neck and back after the crash, and both the singer and her manager were taken to the hospital to be examined.

A representative of Song Ga In’s agency stated, “The accident occurred due to the cargo truck attempting to pass [the car in which Song Ga in was riding]. The driver of the cargo truck has acknowledged that they were at fault.”

“As for [Song Ga In’s] upcoming schedule, we plan to decide how to proceed after seeing the results of her examination,” continued the representative. “For now, it seems that it will be difficult for her to carry out today’s schedule.”

Finally, the agency representative emphasized, “Above all else, [Song Ga In’s] health will be our top priority.”
