Kwak Dong Yeon In Talks To Take On First-Ever Leading Role In New Drama

Actor Kwak Dong Yeon may be joining MBC’s new weekend drama as the main male lead!

On June 21, a source from his agency FNC Entertainment stated, “Kwak Dong Yeon has received an offer to star in MBC’s new weekend drama ‘Never Twice’ (tentative title) and is currently reviewing it. Nothing has been decided.”

“Never Twice” tells the story of guests who stay for a long period of time at “Paradise Inn,” located in the neighborhood of Huam in the Yongsan district. From the first room to the sixth room, all the guests are different in age, gender, and even where they grew up.

If he accepts the role, Kwak Dong Yeon will be playing main lead Na Hae Joon, the grandson of Na Wang Sam, the president of Dong Bang Hotels. Having returned home after majoring in business administration at a prestigious college in the United States, Na Hae Joon works as the Director of Strategy at Dong Bang Hotels. His character is described as a conceited, audacious, snobby, and prickly type of man who has lots of love for only his mother. Though his fantasies about love have long since faded, he finds love when he meets one woman who lives in Paradise Inn.

Writer Ku Hyun Sook, who has written “100-Year Legacy,” “Laurel Tree Tailors,” “The Legendary Witch,” and more will be taking on this drama.
