Song Joong Ki was admitted into Sungkyunkwan University in 2005 on his third try. He joined the Department of Business Administration and proved that he had the brains, looks, and perseverance to make it. During his school years, the actor gained lots of attention for his handsome looks and was known as the “handsome face of Sungkyunkwan University.” A few years later, he appeared in 2010 KBS drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” and portrayed a student of his alma mater in the Joseon Dynasty.

The “Master of Study” actress is a psychology major who was admitted to the university in 2011 with early admissions. Since she was young, she wanted to study humanities and expressed her satisfaction in her academic decision. It’s known that the actress diligently attended classes for her major along with other required courses.
Moon Geun Young
Moon Geun Young was admitted in 2006 into the Department of Korean Language and Literature. The actress, who was loved as “the Nation’s younger sister,” took on a challenge by choosing a different major other than acting.
Despite her busy schedule for filming many projects, the actress didn’t give up studying and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree.
Moon So Ri has a Bachelor of Education from Sungkyunkwan University. She was so famous for her beauty during her school years that she earned the title of “Sungkyunkwan University’s drama club beauty queen.” There’s also a famous story that a student came to the drama club with a pamphlet of Moon So RI’s photos.
This veteran actor and “Grandpas Over Flowers” cast member graduated from the prestigious Kyunggi High School and Sungkyunkwan University’s Department of Korean Language and Literature.
In a previous interview, Shin Goo said, “I studied quite a bit at Kyunggi High School [which was a school that smart kids went to].” Due to his family’s financial situation, however, Shin Goo dropped out of the university before obtaining his degree.
Shin Ye Eun is a current student of Sungkyunkwan University after entering in 2016. Despite her busy schedule in May, she went to school and shared photos from her campus.

Cha Eun Woo also entered in 2016 and majors in acting and the arts. In middle school, he was the student president and ranked third in his school. Following in the footsteps of Song Joong Ki, the ASTRO member has also earned the title of “the handsome face of Sungkyunkwan University.”

Jo Bo Ah first attended Hanseo University where she majored in flight operations. She then left this school and was admitted to Sungkyunkwan University’s Department of Arts and Acting in 2012.
She has said that she was accepted into the school after studying alone in order to gain permission from her parents. Even during her busy schedules, the actress worked hard to attend her classes to gain approval from her parents.
