On June 27, Ravi revealed the name and logo of his hip hop label GROOVL1N. He wrote, “I finally set up my hip hop label ‘GROOVL1N.’ I’ll do my best to make good music and good moves. Please send lots of support and love. I’ll be showing diverse content soon so please look forward to it a lot.”

After VIXX’s contracts recently expired with Jellyfish Entertainment, Ravi made the decision to leave the agency rather than re-sign but he will continue to promote with the group. It was announced that he would be starting his own one-man label tailored to his musical preferences.
