Shinhwa’s Kim Dong Wan Gives Warning To Sasaeng Who Came To His Home
On June 28, Shinhwa’s Kim Dong Wan posted on social media about sasaeng behavior.
Sasaeng means “private life” in Korean but the term “sasaeng fan” has come to mean “fans” who cross the line when it comes to invasions of privacy.
In his Instagram post, Kim Dong Wan shared photos of his personal mail. The sasaeng who came to his house had written on the letter, “It was freaking hard to find your house [drawing of a tongue sticking out]. It’s someone you know!”, and “[laughing sounds] I found it! Kim Dong San [sic] babo [idiot].”
In the original post, Kim Dong Wan wrote, “If you did this for fun, then I’ll make it not fun. Your face was caught perfectly on camera.” It appears the sasaeng was caught on CCTV footage at Kim Dong Wan’s house.
The caption on the post at time of writing reads, “Please respect that I would like to feel safe in my personal space.”
