BTS Tops U.S. Magazine Pollstar's Live 75 List Of Highest-Selling World Tours

BTS has topped Pollstar’s Live 75 chart for the week of July 1!

On June 28 local time, Pollstar—a U.S. trade publication for the concert industry—revealed that BTS had claimed No. 1 on their latest Live 75 chart, a weekly ranking of the highest-selling active tours around the world.

The Live 75 chart is determined by the average tickets sold for a tour’s concerts over the past 30 days. In order to be considered an active tour and thus eligible for the chart, a tour must have at least 3 reported shows over the past 30 days, as well as upcoming concerts scheduled to take place during the next 30 days.

According to Pollstar’s data, BTS sold an average of 51,106 tickets per show and grossed an average of $5,800,033 during the 30-day period measured for the latest chart, which began towards late May and ended in late June. BTS’s six sold-out “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” concerts in São Paulo, London, and Paris (the group performed two shows at each venue) counted towards the latest chart.

Notably, Pollstar pointed out that BTS’s ticket average was “more than twice that of the second-ranked tour” on the chart (claimed by British rock singer Rod Stewart). The publication also wrote that “with 12 shows from the 16-show tour already completed,” BTS’s ticket sales “currently top $78 million.”

The next stop on BTS’s tour is Japan, where they will be performing in Osaka on July 6 and 7, followed by Shizuoka on July 13 and 14.

BTS also recently topped Billboard Boxscore’s Top Tours chart, a monthly ranking of the highest-grossing concert tours, for May.

Congratulations to BTS!
