Singers lit up the stage of “Immortal Songs” with amazing performances!

On the June 29 episode, the music program held a first half of 2019 special where winners from previous episodes faced off for a memorable episode.

The first stage was by Jung Dong Ha, who holds the record with most wins on “Immortal Songs.” He sang a cover of BTS’s “DNA” and put his own twist on the song.

Forestella performed Jo Sumi’s “If I Leave” and moved the audience to tears by expressing the sadness of the song.

Seo Moon Tak then shook things up with a rock version of Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj’s “Bang Bang.”

Ben sang a beautiful cover of Lee Sun Hee’s “Turning the Pages of Memories,” followed by Haeun’s performance of Shin Seung Hoon’s “Invisible Love.”

2AM’s Changmin showcased his singing and dancing skills to Na Hoon Ah’s “Weed” (literal title) and broke Forestella’s streak of four consecutive wins.

The final performance of the night was a cover of Kim Choo Ja’s “Deserted Island” by Monni. The band captivated the audience with a passionate guitar performance.

In the end, Changmin won with 424 votes and became the winner of the first half of 2019 special. After the broadcast, Changmin posted a photo of the trophy. He wrote, “Thank you to everyone who cheered for me. ‘The person who’s the best’ is obviously nice, but I’ll work hard to become ‘the person who works the hardest.’ Thank you again. Sincerely, Changmin.”
