BIGSTAR Announces Disbandment Following Expiration Of Members' Contracts

BIGSTAR will be going their separate ways after seven years.

On July 1, their agency shared the following statement:

Hello. This is Brave Entertainment.

First of all, we sincerely thank the fans who cherish and love the group BIGSTAR.

Brave Entertainment’s exclusive contracts with BIGSTAR members Feeldog, Sunghak, and Jude expire in July.

Ahead of their contract expirations, the members have continuously had discussions about their future activities. After careful consideration, the agreement was made to officially conclude BIGSTAR activities after seven years along with their contract expirations.

However, we are still discussing future activities with the members who have time left on their contracts due to their military service.

We express gratitude to Feeldog, Sunghak, and Jude who are leaving the agency, and we will sincerely cheer on their paths ahead.

We sincerely thank the fans within and outside of Korea who have sent lots of love and support to BIGSTAR over the past seven years. We ask that you show warm interest and support for the BIGSTAR members who have new starts ahead.

BIGSTAR debuted in 2012 with the single “BIGSTART,” and their most recent album was “SHINE A MOON LIGHT” in 2015. Four of the members competed on the survival program “The Unit,” and Feeldog also promoted with the final group UNB.
