ASTRO's Sanha And MJ To Host New Variety Show

ASTRO’s Sanha and MJ will be the MCs of a new variety show!

On July 4, it was announced that tvN D will be launching the new digital variety show “Blanket Kicking Night” (literal title).

This series will be a talk show in the format of visual radio for timid people who need someone to relate to their stories. The MCs will read anonymous stories sent by listeners and comfort them.

ASTRO’s oldest member MJ and youngest member Sanha will showcase their fun charms as the MCs. In order to relate to the listeners’ stories, they’ll have to hold in their laughter while reading the stories out loud and receive punishment if they fail to do so. At the end of every episode, the idols will also give small tips on how listeners can momentarily forget about their embarrassing moments.

The show’s has started asking for stories through tvN D’s YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages. Anyone with an embarrassing or frustrating story can write in to the show. MJ and Sanha will read and relate to the story, then “kick the blanket” out of embarrassment on behalf of the listeners.

“Blanket Kicking Night” will premiere on July 18 at 10 p.m. KST on tvN D’s YouTube and Facebook page.
