"A-TEEN" Actor Ryu Ui Hyun In Talks For Upcoming Weekend Drama

Ryu Ui Hyun may be starring in a new weekend drama!

On July 4, Ryu Ui Hyun’s agency WAYZ Company revealed, “Ryu Ui Hyun has been offered the role of Moon Pa Rang in ‘Love is Beautiful, Life is Wonderful’ (literal translation). He’s currently positively considering the offer.”

KBS2’s “Love is Beautiful, Life is Wonderful” depicts the romance between a brash woman studying for the civil service exam and a mean-spirited man who chooses to be single.

Previously in the day, news outlet Newsen reported that Ryu Ui Hyun was cast in a major role for “Love is Beautiful, Life is Wonderful.” According to the report, Ryu Ui Hyun’s character Moon Pa Rang is a famous YouTuber and intelligent high school student who is ranked No. 1 in his school. Moon Pa Rang will reportedly develop a romantic relationship with CLC member Eunbin’s character.

“Love is Beautiful, Life is Wonderful” will be directed by Han Joon Seo and penned by writer Bae Yoo Mi.

Kim Mi Sook, Jung Won Joong, Na Young Hee, Seol In Ah, Oh Min Seok, CLC’s Eunbin, and Kim Jae Young were previously confirmed to star in the drama, and Jo Yoon Hee is currently still in talks to appear on the show.

“Love is Beautiful, Life is Wonderful” is scheduled to begin airing in September, following the conclusion of “Mother of Mine.”

Ryu Ui Hyun has garnered attention for his role as Cha Ki Hyun in the first and second seasons of the web drama “A-TEEN.”
