SEVENTEEN's Mingyu Sends Gift To Drama Set For ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo

SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu and ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo showed their close friendship once again!

On July 4, Cha Eun Woo posted photos on Twitter of himself enjoying a drink by a coffee truck on the set of his upcoming drama “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung.” A banner on the truck reads, “SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu supports Cha Eun Woo of ‘Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung.'”

Cha Eun Woo wrote as the caption, “Mingyu, I enjoyed it” with smiling emojis and added in the hashtags “Thanks.”

Mingyu and Cha Eun Woo became friends through meeting often on shows, and they’re part of a group of idol friends born in 1997.

“Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung” tells the love story between aspiring historian Goo Hae Ryung (Shin Se Kyung), who dreams of a future where all people are equal, and prince Lee Rim (Cha Eun Woo), a lonely man who leads a double life as a romance novelist. The drama premieres on July 17 on MBC.
