Watch: Red Velvet's Seulgi Shows Off Her Vocals In Cover Of Naomi Scott's "Speechless"
On July 8, Red Velvet’s Seulgi shared a cover of Naomi Scott’s “Speechless” from the live-action remake of “Aladdin.”
The video, which was uploaded in two parts, shows Seulgi showing off her vocal range and smooth English pronunciation. “Speechless” is a power ballad sung by Princess Jasmine (played by Naomi Scott) about refusing to be silenced.
The live-action remake of “Aladdin” was a box office hit worldwide and it is particularly popular in South Korea, topping the Korean box office at least three times since its release. Many K-pop singers have covered “Speechless,” which was the only new song in the remake film, including 15&’s Park Jimin and NCT’s Doyoung.
