Ku Hye Sun Opens Up About Life With Ahn Jae Hyun + Pros And Cons Of Marriage

Ku Hye Sun opened up about married life with husband and fellow actor Ahn Jae Hyun in a recent interview.

On July 10, Ku Hye Sun met with reporters to talk about her new novel “Tears are Heart-Shaped” (literal title). She explained, “It’s a novel about love and relationships, my first since my 2009 novel about first loves. I talk a lot about my own relationships.”

When asked if she’d ever consider writing a novel about her dating and married life with Ahn Jae Hyun, Ku Hye Sun said, “To be honest, I think we showed a lot of ourselves in the variety show ‘Newlywed Diary.’ By showing people our life as newlyweds, I think we were able to share many moments that we couldn’t now.”

She smiled as she added, “I don’t know what will happen, but maybe I’ll write a book if there’s something I need to reveal and write about in 10 years. I’ll keep it in my heart till then,” and joked, “Personally, I think it’s difficult to live with someone like me, so I always thank him for being alive.”

Talking about the differences of dating and marriage, Ku Hye Sun laughed and said, “The pro is that there’s someone else at home, and the con is that there’s someone else at home. When you date, you each go to your own homes, but when you’re married, you go to the same home.”
