Popular Weekend Drama "Mother Of Mine" Gets Extended For More Episodes
On July 22, a source from the drama industry reported to Ilgan Sports that KBS’s “Mother of Mine” would be extended for another two weeks.
Later on the same day, a source from KBS confirmed to OSEN, “We have decided to extend the run of ‘Mother of Mine.’ The original run was planned to be 100 episodes, but we will extend it for another two weeks.”
The episode run will therefore be extended from 100 episodes to 108 episodes (each episode is about 30 minutes long). The last episode will now air on September 22.
“Mother of Mine” has been hitting it out of the park in terms of viewership ratings, consistently ranking as the top-watched weekend drama throughout its run. Last week it scored ratings of 32.6 percent, while its personal best stands at 33.6 percent.
“Mother of Mine” stars Kim Hae Sook, Kim So Yeon, Hong Jong Hyun, Ki Tae Young, and more in a family drama about the relationship between a single mother and her three grown-up daughters.
