Kang Daniel’s Solo Debut Album Surpasses 450,000 Preorders In A Week
With two days left until his solo debut, Kang Daniel has accumulated over 450,000 preorders in just a week!
On July 23, Kang Daniel’s agency KONNECT Entertainment shared, “After preorder sales began on July 16, Kang Daniel’s solo debut album ‘Color on Me’ surpassed 450,000 preorders [as of July 23 KST]. This is an extraordinary feat for a debut album.”
Kang Daniel personally participated in the production of this album in hopes of conveying the message of finding and creating one’s own color. Not only is the number of his preorder sales an impressive feat for a debut album, it is also exceptional among male solo artists.
In addition to his title track “What are you up to,” this album features a total of five songs, including “Intro (Through the night),” “Color,” “Horizon,” and “I HOPE.” For “Color on Me,” Kang Daniel worked with producing team Devine Channel and international choreographer Antoine Troupe. The album drops on July 25 at 6 p.m. KST.
Kang Daniel will officially kick off his solo promotions on the same day at 8 p.m. KST with his “Color on Me” fan showcase.
