7 K-Pop Idols Who Play The "Middle Child" Role As Mediators Of Their Groups

In every K-pop group, you have the leader and the maknae (youngest). But there is also always a member who takes on the diplomat role, and helps ensure a smooth and peaceful atmosphere within their team. These idols are generally spontaneous and agreeable, and they know exactly how to maintain peace within the group by trying their best to resolve conflict the moment they catch wind of it, or just do their part to keep up the group’s energy.

Here are seven K-pop idols who live up to their part as the mediator of their group.

1. BTS’s J-Hope

“I’m your hope, you’re my hope, I’m J-Hope” is the best way to describe Hoseok in one expression. Being the ray of sunshine he is, he effortlessly puts people around him at ease. Another idol who fits the mediator description is Chanyeol. He is very close with his members, and shows his constant support when they’re promoting their solo works.
