B.A.P’s Bang Yong Guk has officially announced his plans to enlist in the military.

On July 25, Bang Yong Guk revealed that he would be enlisting in the military in just one week, on August 1. The singer spoke optimistically of his upcoming military service, remarking, “I think of it as a time during which I’ll be able to take a brief break.”

Earlier that same day, at midnight KST, Bang Yong Guk announced that he would be releasing his new single “Orange Drive” on July 31, the day before his enlistment. He also unveiled the artistic album cover of the upcoming single.

Bang Yong Guk explained, “‘Orange Drive’ is my way of expressing my gratitude to my fans, and it’s also a promise about Bang Yong Guk’s next steps as an artist.”

“Orange Drive” will be released on July 31 at 6 p.m. KST.
