NCT Dream Talks About How Much Jisung Has Grown Since Entering SM, Jeno's Nickname, And More

NCT Dream appeared on MBC FM4U’s “Ji Suk Jin’s 2 O’Clock Date” on July 31 to talk about a variety of topics, including which member has changed the most and a fun nickname for Jeno.

DJ Ji Suk Jin asked, “You’ve spent a lot of time training together from a young age, so you must be close like brothers and have seen a lot of things about each other. In your opinion, which member has gotten the most handsome?” To this, most of the NCT Dream members picked Jisung.

Renjun explained, “Not long ago, I saw a video of him dancing when he was younger. What I saw was a baby who looked like he belonged in elementary school dancing. His face has changed so much since then.” Jisung added, “It’s a video that probably hasn’t been shared yet but I think I was actually in the fifth grade.” He also revealed that when he’d first entered SM Entertainment as a trainee, he was 145 centimeters tall and he was now 180 centimeters tall, remarking that he could probably grow even taller.

The NCT Dream members also revealed why they call Jeno the “Laughter vacuum.” Introducing himself as the member who is in charge of not being funny, Jeno explained, “Haechan made a nickname for me called ‘laughter vacuum.’ It really feels like I dump cold water on a situation. I keep changing the atmosphere because I keep making comments.” Ji Suk Jin said, “So you’re able to reset the atmosphere in any situation,” and Haechan added, “Yes, he plays a very important role.”

Jisung also revealed that he has no plans to get a driver’s license. When asked where he would go first if he got one, Jisung surprised by saying he’d go home. He laughed and said, “I don’t plan to get a driver’s license for the sake of peace for humanity. Every machine I touch ends up breaking.” He explained that he would want to go home just so he could show the driver’s license to his family.

Jaemin also had everyone laughing when he confessed that if he had a sister, he wouldn’t introduce any of the NCT Dream members to her. He said, “I couldn’t do that. I know them too well so I can’t trust them with her.” Asked by Ji Suk Jin to pick just one member, Jaemin said, “I think I’d pick Haechan. He says a lot of romantic things that I think a future girlfriend would like. Maybe it’s because he watches a lot of dramas.”

Finally, NCT Dream answered questions fans sent in, including one where they shared what they do on long flights. Jaemin said that he likes to watch movies and will carry an iPad with films downloaded on it, while Chenle said, “I sleep really well on planes. So if we have a 13 hour flight, I spend ten hours sleeping and three hours eating. I like riding planes because I get really good sleep on them.”

NCT Dream is currently promoting “BOOM,” the title track of their third mini album “We Boom.”
