EXO's Suho And Girls' Generation's Sooyoung To Receive JIMFF Awards

The 15th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) has announced its winners!

The JIMFF Awards are sponsored by Naver and the Directors’ Guild of Korea, and winners in its four categories are selected through a survey of the JIMFF executive committee, the Director’s Guild of Korea, and Korea’s film and music directors.

The OST of the Year award this year is going to Dalparan, the composer behind the score for the film “Believer.”

The New Music Director Award is given to composer Oh Do Yi for the film “Park Hwa Young.”

Bong Jun Ho, who recently released the film “Parasite,” wins the Person of the Year in Film Industry award.

The Discovery of the Year award goes to new actors who got their start as musicians and whose future work is anticipated. This year’s awards are being given to EXO’s Suho after his performance in the film “Student A” and to Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung following her role in the film “Memories of a Dead End.”

The JIMFF Awards will be held on August 9 at 8 p.m. KST at the Cheong Pung Resort.
