Kakao Friends Announces Collaboration With TWICE For Release Of 1st K-Pop Collection

Kakao IX’s character brand Kakao Friends is teaming up with TWICE for a very special collaboration!

On August 9, it was announced that Kakao Friends will be working with TWICE to release their “Kakao Friends TWICE edition” series.

This will be the first time Kakao Friends is collaborating with K-pop artists, and the products will be available in both the Korean and global stores. The “Kakao Friends TWICE edition” collection will have about 30 products. Nine products, including pin badges that reflect designs drawn by the members themselves, will be released on August 9, with over 20 items in travel, living, and beauty categories being released in October.

Kakao Friends also shared a behind-the-scenes video that follows the members as they meet with the Kakao Friends staff, splitting up into three teams of three to discuss which items they want to include in their collection and also sharing design ideas. The members are all smiles as they inject their individual personalities into the items to create a fun collection that reflects who they are.
