BTS, BLACKPINK, And Red Velvet Win At 2019 Teen Choice Awards

Several K-pop artists took home awards at the Teen Choice Awards this year!

The 2019 Teen Choice Awards were held on August 11 (local time) on Hermosa Beach, California.

BTS won the Choice International Artist award, and their song “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey was awarded Choice Collaboration. The group’s recent world tour “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” was chosen as the Choice Summer Tour, and their fans ARMY won the Choice Fandom award for a total of four awards associated with BTS.

BLACKPINK took home the Choice Song: Group award with their hit track “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” and Choice Electronic/Dance Song was awarded to Ellie Goulding, Diplo, and Red Velvet’s “Close to Me (Red Velvet Remix).”

Meanwhile, MONSTA X attended the ceremony and was the first-ever K-pop artist to perform at the event.
