Former T-ara member Han Areum is getting married next year!

I thankfully came to meet someone who taught me how to love. He also taught me how to receive love and is someone who has been there for me when life got difficult. He is someone I love and someone who tells me everyday that I am a precious and beloved being. The reason I am saying this is because I am finally getting married as a fully fledged 26-year-old adult!

I hesitated a lot regarding whether I should or should not share this, but after looking properly at myself, I decided that it was only right to announce it. To my fans who support me as well as my friends and acquaintances around me, since you have all always been such a big source of strength for me, I think it’s only natural to share this blessing with you all. That is why I am abruptly sharing this news! We have reserved the wedding hall for February 9, 2020, and there are many things that we must coordinate and prepare for before then. I really respect those who have gotten married.

Now that I am no longer living life alone, I will remember that I have someone I love and act more responsibly in everything I do. In order to become a more proper person, I will live in a fitting manner to create a more positive influence in our world. To my boyfriend who gives me the courage to only think positive thoughts and listens to my complaints, thank you for giving me endless positive strength. Whether we live a boring or happy life, no matter what situation we find ourselves in, let’s try to help each other out and hold hands for a long time. When we are having a hard time, let’s share the struggles between us, and let’s share good news with lots of people. We will live well.

Unlike me, the person I love is a regular businessman who has never had a hard time because of the public eye. While I was keeping him to myself in case he felt pressured by being exposed to so many people, I also wanted to protect him from any harm caused by being associated with me. I believe that you will all kindly avoid any actions that will affect him. He is a very kind and special person. Please refrain from any actions that could hurt his feelings.

After feeling emotionally exhausted from lots of trial and error, I have come back to my senses. I will now work hard! If you are all at the end of the road that I am currently on, I would be as happy as can be. However, even if that is not the case, I will always be happy! I love you and thank you.

Since I have many things to prepare for in the near future, I don’t know if I will be able to share life updates. But I will still show you a pretty and bright side of me, so let’s always be happy! I love you.

Han Areum joined T-ara in 2012 but left the group in 2013 due to health reasons. She garnered attention again in 2017 for her appearance on KBS’s “The Unit.”
