WINNER's Kim Jin Woo Talks About Preparing For Solo Debut Without Yang Hyun Suk's Guidance

On August 14, Kim Jin Woo held an interview ahead of the release of his first solo album “JINU’s HEYDAY.”

When asked about former YG head Yang Hyun Suk, Kim Jin Woo commented, “I worked on the [album] without the critiques and lessons that Yang Hyun Suk used to give. However, nothing much has changed. Since there were no critiques from Yang Hyun Suk, I worked hard to fill what was lacking on my own.”

He also added, “To make [the album] as perfect as possible, I went through numerous discussions with the company’s employees.”

Kim Jin Woo will be releasing his first solo album on August 14 at 6 p.m. KST with the title track “Call Anytime” featuring fellow WINNER member Song Mino.
