Oh My Girl Shares Thoughts On 1st Public Broadcast Station Music Show Win

Oh My Girl talked about achieving their first win on a public broadcast station music show 1,581 days after their debut.

The three public broadcast station music shows are KBS’s “Music Bank,” MBC’s “Music Core,” and SBS’s “Inkigayo.”

On August 18, Oh My Girl won first place for “BUNGEE (Fall in Love)” on “Inkigayo.” This was their second win for “BUNGEE (Fall In Love)” after winning on the August 13 episode of SBS MTV’s “The Show.”

In an interview with SPOTV and Newsen, Oh My Girl began, “First, it feels surreal that we got our first win on a main broadcasting channel [music show].”

They continued, “We’re so thankful to our Miracles [Oh My Girl’s official fandom] who have always supported Oh My Girl since we debuted to now. We were also able to get No. 1 with ‘Bungee’ thanks to many people who love our music and performances.”

“We achieved first place with these promotions, but we also think that it’s thanks to the love we slowly built up since our debut,” said the girl group. “We’ll work hard to become an Oh My Girl who continues to work hard and improves to show you a better performance.”

Speaking about their second win, Oh My Girl stated, “We didn’t expect to get first place, but we had a bit of anticipation. We feel really happy that so many people love us and we pledged to promote with more strength from here on out. The members want to gather our strength to show fans a better appearance. We want to say thank you to our fans who gave us No. 1. Instead of being satisfied at where we are right now, we will endlessly work hard and become singers who move many people.”
