Son Hyun Joo To Make Cameo Appearance On New JTBC Drama At Park Seo Joon's Request
Son Hyun Joo will be making a special appearance in the upcoming JTBC drama “Itaewon Class” (literal title) to show his support for lead actor Park Seo Joon!
Son Hyun Joo conducted interviews for his upcoming film “Jesters: The Game Changers” on August 19 when he revealed that he will be making a cameo appearance in the drama. He revealed that he will appear in the first two episodes and he filmed all of his scenes on August 18.
The actor said, “I’m close with Park Seo Joon because we worked on the film ‘Chronicles of Evil’ together. He told me that he’s appearing in ‘Itaewon Class,’ and asked if I could appear in the drama.” He continued to state, “On my way up from Wonju, I visited the set and there were about 50 staff members there. I’ll be appearing in the first two episodes as Park Seo Joon’s father in scenes from his childhood.”
He shared a cute story from the set as he said, “I was filming when Park Seo Joon started sending me hearts from far away, so I sent some back to him.”
“Itaewon Class” will be a drama based on a webtoon of the same name. The story will follow a group of brave youths who rise up against an unfair world, opening a food business located in the Itaewon neighborhood. Park Seo Joon has been cast in a leading role and he will be joined by actors like Kwon Nara, Kim Da Mi, and Yoo Jae Myung.
