Update: High Court Postpones Date Of 1st Questioning In Appeal Hearing Between Kang Daniel And LM Entertainment

The first round of questioning in the appeals hearing between LM Entertainment and Kang Daniel has been postponed to October 1.

On September 2, the Seoul High Court revealed that Kang Daniel’s legal representative Yulchon LLC submitted a request on August 29 asking to change the date of the first round of questioning.

As a result, the questioning that was scheduled for September 24 has been pushed back to October 1.

The legal battle between Kang Daniel and his former agency, LM Entertainment, continues.

On August 21, the Seoul High Court set the date for the first round of questioning in the appeals hearing between LM Entertainment and Kang Daniel in their dispute over the Kang Daniel’s exclusive contract. The date has been set for September 24.

Back in May, the lower courts sided with Kang Daniel in his request to suspend his contract with LM Entertainment. The agency then filed an appeal, which was rejected by the lower courts in July. Later that month, LM sought the judgment of a higher court and filed another appeal to the Seoul High Court.
