Watch: Lee Sang Yoon, Jang Nara, And More Hint At Their Tangled Relationship In “VIP” Teasers
SBS’s upcoming elite office drama, “VIP,” has unveiled character teasers of its principal cast.
“VIP” tells the story of a team that manages VIP clients at a department store. Lee Sang Yoon plays the team leader, Park Sung Joon, and Jang Nara plays his colleague and wife, Na Jung Sun. Lee Chung Ah plays Lee Hyun Ah, the brilliant ace of the team who is in charge of the most VIP customers. Pyo Ye Jin and Kwak Sun Young round out the cast as Ohn Yoo Ri and Song Mina, also employees on the team.
Lee Sang Yoon’s teaser shows his character strutting through a luxurious office setting in a sleek suit and professional briefcase. However, his teaser is undercut with shots of the other female characters, hinting at his tangled relationship with his team members.
Jang Nara also looks professional as she moves confidently through the office in her teaser, carrying what appears to be Lee Sang Yoon’s briefcase. However, the end of the video features Lee Sang Yoon disappearing around a corner and Jang Nara looking thoughtfully at a wedding photo of her and Lee Sang Yoon.
Pyo Ye Jin’s teaser hints at a different personality than Lee Sang Yoon and Jang Nara, with her tailored but brightly patterned yellow suit and neon heels. However, she has a secret of her own as she sits alone in her room, turning what appears to be Lee Sang Yoon’s nametag badge over and over in her hands.
Lee Chung Ah looks like a boss in her unconventional yet elegant suit, while her teaser shows her character carrying what appears to be Lee Sang Yoon’s necktie through the office before finally dropping it on the floor.
Kwak Sun Young appears to be the perfect working mom – elegant and fashionable at work, a happy family at home – but there is something strange in her expression as she looks at a family photo and drops her bag on the floor. She is also carrying what appears to be Lee Sang Yoon’s jacket.
“VIP” is direted by Lee Jung Rim and written by Cha Hae Won and will premiere on October 7 at 10 p.m. KST.
