Watch: Kim Byung Chul Hires A Host Of Bizarre Employees In “Pegasus Market” Teasers
tvN’s upcoming drama “Pegasus Market” has unveiled intriguing new teasers!
“Pegasus Market” is based on a popular webtoon of the same name and tells the story of employees at a falling-behind store where the staff is king, rather than the customer. While the manager tries to revive the mart, they’re up against the “human bulldozer” boss that aims to ruin the store.
Kim Byung Chul takes the role of that “human bulldozer” boss, Jung Bok Dong. In the first set of teasers, he is joined by his foolish employee, Moon Seok Goo (played by Lee Dong Hwi), for job interviews. However, the prospects who walk through the door — a wailing guitarist and a dark, silhouetted figure — are not what one would expect for regular shopkeepers.
Despite their glaring lack of qualifications, Jung Bok Dong hires them with comments such as, “How soulful” and “How global,” much to Moon Seok Goo’s confusion. Even the interviews with seemingly capable individuals seem suspicious. Jo Mi Ran (played by Jung Hye Sung) enters while saying, “I came from headquarters,” and Kim Byung Chul passes her immediately, complimenting her originality. Watching these scenarios unfold, Moon Seok Goo thinks, “Our store is weird!”
In the final teaser, Moon Seok Goo asks, “Boss, why did you hire all those people?” Jung Bok Dong replies cryptically, “Competent people like you wouldn’t know the reason,” leaving Moon Seok Goo as puzzled as ever.
