Seo Yi Sook Praises Strengths And Skills Of "Hotel Del Luna" Co-Stars Yeo Jin Goo And IU

Seo Yi Sook expressed her admiration for “Hotel Del Luna” co-stars IU and Yeo Jin Goo.

On September 4, the actress participated in an interview after the conclusion of the tvN series.

“Hotel Del Luna” told the story of special events that occurred when elite hotelier Goo Chan Sung (played by Yeo Jin Goo) and beautiful but ill-tempered owner Jang Man Wol (played by IU) ran a hotel together.

“We were behind on filming towards the end,” said Seo Yi Sook who portrayed the divine being Ma Go. “But the atmosphere on set was still good. IU and Yeo Jin Goo felt responsibility until the end and maintained their initial emotions. Because of that, everything remained together. Also, the viewership ratings and reactions were good, so we lasted until the end with that strength.”

She continued, “When I looked at Jin Goo and [IU], I think I met skilled actors of that age group. [IU] isn’t even 30 years old, but she’s someone with a strong mind and emotions. Her charm is that she’s like a blank piece of paper. Her face varies depending on whether or not she’s wearing makeup and how the lighting is. I think she’s good at writing lyrics because she reads a lot. She’s not only a good conversationalist, she’s also diligent. She’s someone who knows what she needs to do, so I don’t worry about her.”

“Yeo Jin Goo has many charms as an actor, but I think he’ll triumph with his honesty,” stated Seo Yi Sook. “I think that’ll become his biggest weapon. Both of them send sincere looks with their eyes. Both actors thoughtfully exchanged looks with their eyes. They weren’t actors who just did their own thing.”

“Hotel Del Luna” came to an end on September 1 with a personal best of 12 percent in viewership ratings.
