Oh Na Ra, Lee Ji Hoon, Seo Hyun Chul, And Shin Su Hyun Confirmed For Upcoming KBS Drama
More actors will be joining Kim Kang Woo and Jo Yeo Jeong for KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “9.9 Billion Woman” (literal title).
“9.9 Billion Woman” is about a woman named Jung Seo Yeon (Jo Yeo Jeong) who coincidentally gets her hands on 9.9 billion won (approximately $8.3 million) in cash and a man called Kang Tae Woo (Kim Kang Woo) who meets Jung Seo Yeon while digging up the truth about his younger sibling’s death.
Oh Na Ra has been confirmed for the role of Yoon Hee Joo, Jung Seo Yeon’s beautiful and affluent friend who has high levels of self-confidence. As someone who hasn’t experienced poverty, failure, or misfortune, she acts generously towards everyone, but she transforms into a cold hearted person when given the slightest excuse.
Seo Hyun Chul will be taking on the role of Oh Dae Yong, who used to be a good-for-nothing boss of an entertainment establishment. However, despite this, he is a loyal man.
Shin Su Hyun will play the bartender Ji Ha Na, who comes to like Kang Tae Woo after receiving help from him. Previously, Shin Su Hyun showcased her acting skills through OVAN and VINXEN’s music video “Snowflake” and her role as Min Ji on the web drama “The Reason I Can’t Help But Like You” (literal title).
Finally, Lee Ji Hoon has been confirmed for the role of Lee Jae Hoon, the director of Woon Am Foundation and Yoon Hee Joo’s husband who’s great at putting on a show as a husband. However, despite his outer appearance, he’s secretly a playboy. Lee Ji Hoon will show a completely different style of acting that contrasts with his character Min Woo Won in MBC’s “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung.”
Previously, Lee Ji Hoon has starred in “The Legend of the Blue Sea,” “Sister Is Alive,” “Death Song,” and more. On his new project, Lee Ji Hoon shared, “I’m happy to be able to meet viewers with a new side of me. I’m working hard to prepare for [the drama], so please look forward to it a lot.”
“9.9 Billion Woman” will air sometime in November.
