Watch: "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency" Characters Pursue Love Despite Obstacles In New Preview

A highlight video has been revealed for JTBC’s upcoming drama “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency”!

“Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency” is about Yi Soo (Seo Ji Hoon), a blacksmith who turns into a king. He makes a request to Joseon’s best dating agency Flower Crew to protect his first love, and upon his request, the matchmakers at the agency, Ma Hoon (Kim Min Jae), Go Young Soo (Park Ji Hoon), and Do Joon (Byun Woo Seok) risk their lives to transform the lowly woman Gae Ddong (Gong Seung Yeon) into the most refined noble lady.

The beginning of the video shows the Flower Crew doing what they’re best at—matchmaking. In order to get married to his first love Gae Ddong, Yi Soo visits Ma Hoon at the Flower Crew’s headquarters again and again even though Ma Hoon rejects him each time.

Meanwhile, a court lady asks Gae Ddong if she wants to take on an easy job. All she has to do is to sit calmly and pretend to be a noble lady for just two hours. However, Ma Hoon, who sits across from her, notices her fingers and says, “You must have eaten grilled fish with your hands. How sloppy. This marriage will be canceled.”

Yi Soo asks Go Young Soo to deliver something valuable to Ma Hoon, and he recognizes it to be an ornamental pin made of gold and jades that only the queen is allowed to wear. Ma Hoon finally shows interest, and asks Yi Soo, “The woman named Gae Ddong, what does she look like?” Yi Soo responds, “She has the prettiest face in Joseon.”

The drama takes a more serious turn and shows the king’s sudden death, which leads to drastic changes in the lives of the main characters.

Yi Soo proposes to Gae Ddong, and the two prepare to get married. However, Yi Soo gets kidnapped prior to their wedding and is taken to the royal court. There, he is told that he is a descendant of the deceased king and becomes the new king of Joseon.

In another scene, Ma Hoon’s father Ma Bong Duk (Park Ho San) slaps Ma Hoon across the face and tells him, “How long are you going to live like that? You are the only remaining son of the Ma family, and you are the only person who will have Joseon in the palm of your hand.” Ma Hoon yells, “A person has died. Your son has died!”

The end of the clip hints at a budding romance between Do Joon and Kang Ji Hwa (Go Won Hee), as well as a cute love-hate relationship between Go Young Soo and Gae Ddong. Ma Hoon says to Gae Ddong, “I have come to take you instead of the debt. We will use you as a matchmaker for the time being. We will help you find Kim Soo (Yi Soo’s name as a blacksmith).”
